Dad Takes 9-Year-Old Son To Hooters As ‘Reward’ For Good School Report

One of the typical rewards kids receive for a good school report is extra time on the Xbox or an ice cream cone. For Liverpool resident Buddy, it was a visit to the infamous Hooters.

I’m not sure about you, but my parents would give me a smack on the back and say “well done” whenever I got a decent-ish school report. If necessary, they might take us to a restaurant like TGI Friday’s.

But after Buddy received an outstanding evaluation from his teachers this week, Paul Edwards of Liverpool had something a little more thrilling in store for him.

The 36-year-old thought he had earned himself a nice supper and a night out on the town because of his son’s academic achievements.
